An afternoon stroll at Chelsea Market (New York)

After a night of too many gin & tonics at Goldbar in Soho, my friend from Berlin and I have decided to take it easy today and not run around in Manhattan for hours. All we needed was a good espresso, a sugar rush of cupcakes and more food for our eyes. One of the best places in New York to find all of this at one place is at Chelsea Market. This beautiful 11-story building from 1913, formerly known as the National Biscuit Company Complex (Oreos & Mallomars) has an amazing lobby with tons of bakeries and stores inside. If you are a picky coffee drinker like me I will definitely recommend you to start your day with a cappuccino at Ninth Street Coffee. It's one of the best coffee places in Manhattan! And as an expert I can assure you, there are not too many.

After strolling through the never ending lobby which was decorated with pumpkins and skeletons hanging from the ceiling, we ended our trip at one of my favorite stores: Anthropolgie. It is just crazy how creative this company is. They put so much love and effort into their products and the decoration of their stores. Too bad we don't have any in Europe.
